In 1949 Joseph Campbell wrote The Hero with a Thousand Faces, where his comparative analysis described what we know today as the hero’s journey. Today we know addiction is a disease of 1000 faces – men, women, and people of all identities are affected by an internal adversary.

Today in Wilmington, Limen Recovery + Wellness is a leader in the recovery community, but our work still needs to be finished. Limen Recovery + Wellness will provide screening, treatment, sober living, and alums programming.
Our holistic approach meets the varied needs of our patients and their loved ones with our outpatient and intensive outpatient and family programming. This continuum of care is the Limen Recovery Model – patients are called to cross the threshold to take the first step to transform their lives through self-awareness and action.
Operationally, we are uniquely positioned by the variable length of stay and the ratio of the support staff of 6:1. Our model addresses the healing and development of the heavily researched seven dimensions of wellness – Mental, Physical, Social, Financial, Spiritual, Environmental, and Vocational.
Limen’s Michael Duffy and Beth Undercuffler were tapped to provide leadership to FSARR to ensure access to high-quality recovery residences in Delaware, aligning with national standards set by NARR. FSARR’s mission is to support individuals in their recovery by promoting access to recovery residences across Delaware that meet NARR’s standards. We believe a safe, supportive, recovery-focused living environment is crucial to successful recovery journeys.
